Adorior - “Bleed On My Teeth” 2024

Adorior
“Bleed On My Teeth”

Origin: Sutton, West Midlands, UK

Genre: Black / Thrash Metal

Label: Dark Descent / Sepulchral Voice

The filthiest, grimiest fucking blasphemy. Criminal! Let curses against the bastard son’s holy name emanate through the dank fog of diabolism’s eve as UK’s Adorior steamroll the infernal path before them in panzers of Satan’s militant onslaught. Armed with their deadly cache of unholy weaponry, Adorior are taking no prisoners as they ravage their precious mother, vomit on their gospel and torch their crosses under blood moon. Thrash-laden black metal of the most defiling variety have Adorior brought to the table with their third LP, “Bleed On My Teeth, released on September 27, 2024 via Dark Descent / Sepulchral Voice.

Deströyer 666? Aura Noir? Fucking child’s play when stood next to the ghastly Adorior whose scourge o’er the scene can only be described as something so fucking abominable, so unabashedly shameful and so utterly desecrating that only the seasoned black metal enthusiast can handle it. Lock up your children and board up your places of worship, for nothing is sacred tonight. With “Bleed On My Teeth”, Adorior mask Saints for torture with relentlessly cruel album cuts like “Begrime Judas” and “Precipice of Fire” that blister divine flesh with furious riffs, incinerating rhythms and wailing vocals that call to arms His great Daemon hordes against forces of light; raising the dead and summoning forth evil spirits with necromantic zeal. Old-school thrash vibes all day, like Overkill and Archgoat intertwined in some godless orgy of sin.

What’s most impactful about “Bleed On My Teeth”, aside from each track’s lyrical scathes is Adorior’s musical adeptness, which is world-class: maniacal leads, frenzied blast-beats and raw fucking speed unleashed like Cerberus upon flocks of feeble sheep. Assassinator’s villainous vocals tear through your carotid like a psychopath on meth, while Molestör bludgeons your diseased cranium with beat upon dense-as-a-hammer blow beat. Guzzle some whiskey straight from the bottle, blow a few lines and fucking start a riot to this one! March the streets like a Mephistophelian Legion; sending god’s children scurrying for sanctuary on this night of Satanic sovereignty.

“Bleed On My Teeth” closes with the titular cut - a death metal-inspired bruiser that grinds and grates the ashen earth of ground zero in what’s been a merciless bombardment from Adorior. No rhyme, reason, melody or anything else pleasing to the ear to be heard during most of this track until the final minute or so when Adorior slow things down and let the groove have its way. Atmosphere teeming with hatred and sick guitar solos that resonate through the fog of the carnage.

Adorior kill it here. What an intense work of blasphemy and what a fierce show of force. Critics and connoisseurs have both been eating this one up, myself included. Eating it like a leather-clad vixen’s cunt. This is the TRUE spirit of fucking metal encapsulated right here - insultingly rebellious - malicious intent and zero regard for yours or anyone else’s beliefs, just the way it should be. Like Venom on steroids! Animal instinct and primitive bloodlust are all that matter here. Bands like Adorior are what keep blackened metal dangerous! Exactly what the scene is begging for, exactly what the herd laments. Adorior has had an inconsistent career thus far, but “Bleed On My Teeth” just begs for a follow-up. Don’t leave us hanging…

9/10
