Hell Mortus!

One of the finest albums ever made. Mortuus is King!

brutal work :))

like marduk, but with a twist. highly recommended!

This album and Salvation contain some of the best black metal tracks of any band and are what underwrite Daniel Rosten's place in the genre. These albums are unique. No one comes close to Arioch's impressive vocal tricks, range and raw passion. The experimentation and deep understanding of his art is what created Jesus Saves, Anathema Marantha and Sword of Faith. Unfortunately it also created Blessed Curse, White Stone and (the terrible) Anti-Flesh Nimbus - which although strong in their own rights and well worth a listen, do not hold up over time and I am perpetually skipping these tracks in order to focus on the gems.

The album art is raw, ugly and sick as all fuck. The music within is the same. Arioch's ability to make religious lyrics/phrases sound blasphemous, nasty and simply fucked up is a real credit to him.
