This album is what made me fall in love with Immortal. The guitars while not only flowing well from riff to riff, have a nice raw quality.

One of the best Immortal album with "Pure Holocaust". An only and inimitable sound.

When the album is listened, they feel the cold transported by the music of "At The Heart Of Winter". A splendid album with beautiful cover. An album to be had if this group of legend is loved. ^^

This album instantly feels you with unforgiving cold. I love it! Best listened to when thrashing in the snow.
