Heritage from the 80s!

When people think of the first wave of Black M, they mostly remember the obvious names, and some raw Thrash Metal albums from Germany, Brazil or the United States (well, not for that many U.S. bands, apart from Slayer!), but everyone seems to be forgetting our Eastern Bloc friends, like Ghost, Scarecrow, and of course, the mighty Kat!

Kat has a very consistent discography but let us focus on their rawest, most obscure and blackest release ever!

This album has many of the essential features of 80s Black Metal, from its unbelievably obscure and raw production to its insane vocal performance.

The riffs are very much thrashy, but at some points it's very much old school Black/Speed Metal like the gods of this sound, Venom! But because of the cold, gloomy atmosphere, it somehow doesn't fit to the standard Thrash Metal acts.

The best thing about this album is by far the energy and the aggression. By far! There are many obscure, slow Black Metal outputs from the 80s, but few can compete the sheer energy of this badass release here.

All in all, you should definitely check this out if you like the obscure Thrash Metal albums from 1985-1986, or if you like badass dramatic vocals like King Diamond!
