It was not sure we would hear of Wrest ever again within Leviathan, then he dropped of this stellar album and he shows he is still alive and kicking, it will take you some listens to get into but eventually once you have gotten used to the sound you will see the true beauty of scar sighted.
For fans who are already used to the sound, will expect some dark murky, heavy Black metal, with a awesome rhythm with some clean vocals to differ the album, as a whole. It's my favorite album of black metal album of 2015.

Agree with comment above. I'm a huge Wrest fan, I was unsure of a couple tracks but after a couple spins I couldn't stop listening to it. More amazing work from the man behind Leviathan.
