German Black Metal band Eïs, formerly known as Geïst, will today be releasing their third full length album, and their first album to feature brand new material since they changed their name. The new album, titled "Wetterkreuz", will be released through German label Prophecy Productions. The label has also made the entire album available for streaming online at their official YouTube channel.

The band's previous releases, "Patina" and "Kainsmal", were actually re-recordings of material originally released under the Geïst name.
The track list for "Wetterkreuz" is as follows:
- Mann aus Stein
- Auf kargen Klippen
- Wetterkreuz
- Am Abgrund
- Bei den Sternen
- Thou, Whose Face Hath Felt the Winter's Wind (Sun of the Sleepless cover)
The band originally formed under the name Geïst in 2005 in Bielefeld, Germany, but were forced to change their name in 2010 after a rock band from Cologne named Geist threatened them with a lawsuit. In addition to the "Patina" and "Kainsmal" albums released in 2005 and 2006 respectively, the band also released the album "Galeere" and the EP "In den Werften der Galeere" in 2009 before changing their name.
Eïs - Wetterkreuz is available on Amazon.com in both Audio CD and MP3 formats.
