The title of this album will be "Purifying Blade", and it will be released on October 8th via Profound Lore Records.
Virginia based bestial heroes Antichrist Siege Machine have just unveiled some new details regarding their upcoming sophomore album, which is titled "Purifying Blade" and will be released on October 8th via Profound Lore Records.
Alongside the tracklist and the cover art, they have also uploaded a single as a teaser of what can be expected from the album:
Antichrist Siege Machine is a Blackened Death metal band which was formed around 2016. After releasing 2 demos and an EP, they finally released their debut full-length back in 2019, and now, after 2 years, they have just announced the follow-up. The band commented the following on their official instagram Page:
The storm now approaches, and ANTICHRIST SIEGE MACHINE is prepared to release the second full-length, Purifying Blade. Sustaining the unhinged violence on display on 2020’s Filth Of The World EP ANTICHRIST SIEGE MACHINE rises victorious in the temple assaulted; each track on Purifying Blade is a weapon wielded by wickedness and hatred directed at the heart of Christendom. Faces of black evil, shields hardened with the cracked ribs of the dead.
The final tracklist is as follows:
- Intro - The Way of Cain
- Carried into Darkness
- Unleashed Hostility
- Chaos Insignia
- Led by Fire
- Victorious Legions of Satan
- Intro - That the Wicked Be Revealed
- Defiled in Iniquity
- (To Be Sooner) Broken by Pain
- Antichrist Siege Machine
- The Inevitable Penalty
Here is a closer look at the cover art, which was designed by the talented Corey Dixon:
Purifying Blade will be released through Profound Lore on LP, CD, and digital platforms on October 8th. A limited cassette release is also planned to be released. Stay tuned.
