Norwegian Black Metal legend Norway Abbath has just announced the details for the band's upcoming full-length album, which is titled "Dread Reaver". The new album will drop on the 25th of March through Season of Mist, and will mark the band's third full-length album to date. A music video for the third track off the album, "Dream Cull", was revealed together with the announcement. Check it out:

The label commented on the new material:

Riff-maestro Abbath Doom Occulta cements his place among the heavy metal hierarchy with "Dread Reaver", his third album with eponymous project ABBATH. His signature blend of blistering speed metal, traditional metal influences, and touch of ice-cold black metal create a sound and style that is distinctly his. It’s spirited, balls-to-the-walls energy certifies "Dread Reaver" as the quintessential anthem for galloping forth into the pit.

The complete tracklist for "Dread Reaver" is as follows:

  1. Acid Haze
  2. Scarred Core
  3. Dream Cull
  4. Myrmidon
  5. The Deep Unbound
  6. Septentrion
  7. Trapped Under Ice (Metallica cover)
  8. The Book of Breath
  9. Dread Reaver
