The new split, titled "Under Satan's Wrath", was released on the 25th of March via Agonia Records, and features three brand new tracks from each band.
Brazilian Black / Death Metal veterans Mystifier and Greek Black Metal band Lucifer's Child have just released a brand new split EP last Friday via Polish label Agonia Records. The split, titled "Under Satan's Wrath", features a total of three tracks from each band, including some covers of classic songs by Samael and Bathory. To celebrate the release, the entire thing is now being streamed online via the Agonia Records channel, check it out:
The complete tracklist for "Under Satan's Wrath" is as follows:
- Mystifier - Death Beyond Holy Creation
- Mystifier - Under Inhumane Evil Spell
- Mystifier - Worship Her (Samael cover)
- Lucifer's Child - Satan's Wrath
- Lucifer's Child - Nova Tenebris
- Lucifer's Child - Enter the Eternal Fire (Bathory cover)
Mystifier are one of the pioneers of the Brazilian Black / Death Metal scene, forming as far back as 1989 and recently releasing their fifth full-length album, "Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia". Lucifer's Child on the other hand are a relatively new formation by comparison, with just two albums to their name since forming in 2013, however they do not lack in experience, featuring members from the likes of Rotting Christ, Serpent Noir and Nightfall in their original line-up.
Here's a closer look at the cover art, designed by Australian artist Mitchell Nolte:
"Under Satan's Wrath" is now available in digital, digipack CD and vinyl LP (in a variety of different colors), along with some t-shirt designs to mark the occasion:
