Swedish Black Metal veterans Sweden Watain are scheduled to release a brand new album, titled "The Agony & Ecstasy of Watain", on the 29th of April via Nuclear Blast. Over the last few months, a total of three tracks from the album have been made available for listening, with the most recent one, "We Remain", due to premiere later today in the form of a music video via the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel. Check it out:

The label commented briefly:

The video was directed by Johan Bååth, who also directed the "Opus Diaboli" movie and the video for "Outlaw". It was filmed throughout many years and in many places in the world. "We Remain" represents the deepest shadow of the album.

In case you missed them, here is the music video for the album's second track, "The Howling", and the lyric video for the album's third track, "Serimosa":

"The Agony & Ecstasy of Watain" will be the first time Watain releases an album through Nuclear Blast, after the band signed with them last year, and will mark the band's seventh full-length album overall, with the following tracklist:

  1. Ecstasies in Night Infinite
  2. The Howling
  3. Serimosa
  4. Black Cunt
  5. Leper's Grace
  6. Not Sun nor Man nor God
  7. Before the Cataclysm
  8. We Remain
  9. Funeral Winter
  10. Septentrion

The cover art was designed by Indonesian artist Oik Wasfuk, of Nothing Sacred Artwork, who already collaborated with Watain on their previous album, "Trident Wolf Eclipse":
