The new song, titled "Belie All Gods", will be the fifth track on the band's upcoming album, "Rapture", which is scheduled for release on the 27th of May through Hammerheart Records.
At the beginning of March, Swedish Black Metal veterans Lord Belial revealed the details for what will be their ninth full-length studio record. The new album is titled "Rapture", and is due for release on the 27th of May via Dutch label Hammerheart Records. Over the last couple of months the band has made three songs available from the album, the most recent of which, "Belie All Gods", was revealed last Thursday. Check it out:
The album's second track, "On a Throne of Souls", was already revealed together with the album's announcement in the form of a single:
And "Lux Lucifer", the album's seventh track, was revealed at the end of March:
The album was recorded at Andy La Rocque's Sonic Train Studios, and will be the band's first release since their 2020 reunion, with the complete tracklist as follows:
- Legion
- On a Throne of Souls
- Rapture of Belial
- Destruction
- Belie All Gods
- Evil Incarnate
- Lux Luciferi
- Infinite Darkness and Death
- Alpha and Omega
- Lamentations
The cover artwork for "Rapture" was designed by American vocalist and artist Mike Hrubovcak, better known as the singer for U.S. Death Metal act Monstrosity:
"Rapture" will be available in CD, vinyl LP, and as a deluxe CD boxset, and pre-orders are now available via Hammerheart Records and also Napalm Records:
