The new album will mark the band's third full-length effort, and is now being streamed in its entirety ahead of the official release on Friday via Wolfspell Records.
Finnish Pagan Black Metal band Iku-Turso are getting ready to launch their latest album, titled "Into Dawnless Realms". The new album will mark the band's third full-length, and is scheduled for release this Friday the 6th of May via Polish label Wolfspell Records. While we wait, the entire album is set to premiere online via the BMP YouTube channel later this afternoon:
The band, who take their name from a sea monster of Finnish mythology, commented briefly on the type of atmosphere listeners can expect:
After the pagan homage of Pakana to the days gone, we venture deep Into Dawnless Realms - where the light of day is the darkness of the night.
Let us lead you on this adventure through the cold shadows of the haunting woesome woods, past the remains of bloodletting at the final dawn, with valor through the unknown, distant realms beyond the mind and eye, a journey to an ever expanding realm of galactic brutality with stars as the only light, the infinity of life in the darkness of the night - In darkness we trust.
The complete tracklist for the album is as follows:
- Wrath of the Woesome Woods
- At the Crack of Dawn
- The Offering
- The Cranial Galaxy
- Valor
- Argusogen
The cover art was designed by French artist Maéna Paillet:
"Into Dawnless Realms" is now available either via the Wolfspell Records shop, or alternatively through the band's Bandcamp page, in digital, digipack CD, jewelcase CD and cassette tape formats:
