The new track is titled "The Breathing Reflection", and is the third song to be revealed from the new album, "Thrown to the Abyss", which will be released on the 11th of June.
Next month, South Carolina Black Metal / Noise band Vølus will be unleashing "Thrown to the Abyss", their latest album. The new record will be released on June 11th via local underground label Vargheist Records. Leading up to the release, three of the album's tracks have been made available for listening, the most recent of which, "The Breathing Reflection", went live earlier today:
Previously, the tracks "Black Flame of Purification" and "Chronoblast Paradox" were also revealed:
"Thrown to the Abyss" will be the second Volus album, and features the following tracklist:
- Traverse the Arkhanspire
- Immortal Ninth Tribunal
- Antediluvian Watchers
- Chronoblast Paradox
- The Breathing Reflection
- Black Flame of Purification
- Temporal Pathways
- Ascendance Incinerated
The cover artwork was designed by Indonesian artist Dede Suhita:
"Thrown to the Abyss" is now available for pre-order in digital or CD formats through the Volusl Bandcamp page, with a special t-shirt design to mark the occasion:
