The band's next album, "Hypervirulence Architecture", is scheduled for release on the 15th of July through Profound Lore Records.
Seattle Experimental Black / Death Metal band Hissing have made two songs from their upcoming full-length effort, titled "Hypervirulence Architecture", available for listening, the most recent of which, "Hostile Absurdity", was unveiled on Wednesday:
The new album will be released on 15th of July via Profound Lore Records. Last month the album's closing track "Meltdown" was already revealed:
Profound Lore Records commented on Hissing's origins and style:
Founded in 2014 out of a mutual interest in mutilating sounds and exploring the outer limits of black and death metal, the group aims to desecrate expectations with each subsequent release.
Their new album “Hypervirulence Architecture”, which is their first album in four years following their “Permanent Destitution” debut LP, sees the trio take their sound into more nightmarish, trance inducing, mercurial and mind altering sonic dominions.
"Hypervirulence Architecture" features the following tracklist:
- Cells of Nonbeing
- Hostile Absurdity
- Operant Extinction
- Hypervirulence
- Intrusion
- Identical to Hunger
- Meltdown
The cover art was designed by Norwegian artist and musician Sindre Foss Skancke, also known under his alias Utarm:
"Hypervirulence Architecture" is available for pre-order in digital, CD and vinyl LP formats through the link below:
