Underground Australian Black Metal veterans Australia Claret Ash will be putting out a brand new EP next month, titled "Worldtorn: Anemoia", and due for release on the 11th of August via Canadian label Hypnotic Dirge Records. While we wait, the EP's third track, a re-recording of the title-track from their 2013 debut "Ground Dweller", is now available for streaming:

The label commented on the new EP:

Five years have passed since the release of Australian progressive metal band Claret Ash's double album 'The Great Adjudication'. Claret Ash ended 2022 with the release of the 'Gateways' single, the first track unveiled from the new 'WORLDTORN' series of releases to come.

The 'WORLDTORN' series is a continuation of the themes and imagery that have carried throughout previous Claret Ash albums, painting a vivid canvas of the collapse of society and the near-eradication of humanity. WORLDTORN is set to evolve as a journey with each subsequent release in the series.

Claret Ash is now set to release a new EP - the second installment in the WORLDTORN series - entitled 'Anemoia'. Featuring both new material and re-recorded versions from their back-catalog, Anemoia delivers atmospheric and menacing black metal with equal parts unforgiving black metal savagery, melodic triumphant hooks, soaring solos, and earthly acoustic sections.
