Darkspace reveal new album

Swiss Black Metal duo Darkspace are due to release a brand new album on the 16th of February via Season of Mist. The album will be titled "-II", following the band's tradition of adhering to variations on Roman numerals, and will mark their fifth studio album in a career spanning over two decades.

Although the album is composed of one singular 47 minute track, the label made a five-minute snippet available for listening as a preview:

With an icy-cold embrace and psychedelic conductance, DARKSPACE present ‘Dark Space -II’, a singular album of atmospheric black metal beyond human comprehension. Fractal electronic samples slice through layers of extraterrestrial drones, manifesting an immersive experience defying the boundaries of the conventional black metal genre. Vocal transmissions, like whispers from the outer reaches, seamlessly interwoven in the chilling mix, add a haunting dimension to the celestial configuration.
