Bloodaxe reveal new album in the works

Canadian Black Metal viking Bloodaxe has recently announced that a brand new album is in the works, titled "Bless the North Winds" and featuring 10 tracks of pounding Boreal Metal. The album will mark the band's fifth full-length album in a career spanning three decades, and is currently in the recording phase:



The album will be recorded and mixed at the famed Necromorbus Studios in Sweden, and will feature Polish session drummer Krzysztof Klingbein, who also contributed drums to the previous Bloodaxe album, "Gales of November".

On the 21st of November, Canadian Viking Black Metal veteran Bloodaxe released the project's fourth studio album, titled "Gales of November". The entire album is available for streaming online via Bandcamp:



"Gales of November" was mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the legendary Necromorbus Studios in Sweden, comes after 2013's "For Those Who Hunt the Wounded Down", making it the first release of any kind in almost 10 years, and the fourth Bloodaxe studio album overall.

After being more or less inactive for a period of 8 years, Canadian Black Metal band Bloodaxe has recently announced that they will be releasing a new album in late December or early January through Northern Force Records. The new album will be titled "For Those Who Hunt the Wounded Down", following up their previous album, "Raping the Ancient", which was released in 2004.
