On the 26th of May, Norwegian Black Metal legends Immortal will unleash what is to be their 10th studio record. Louisiana Black / Death Metal act Abysmal Lord have just put out a new track from their upcoming third album, "Bestiary of Immortal Hunger". The song is titled "Ultra Expulser", and is available for listening over at the Hell's Headbangers channel, who will be handling the album's release on the 30th of December on CD, tape and digital formats, with an LP edition expected in 2023:

Blashyrkh Black Metal titans Immortal have just unveiled the title, tracklist and cover art for what will be their 10th full-length album. The new record is titled "War Against All", and is due for release early next year via Nuclear Blast Records.

The album was produced in Bergen, Norway, at Earshot & Conclave Studios. The band's sole remaining member and founder, Harald "Demonaz" Nævdal, commented:

U.S. Black Metal legends Ceremonial Castings are scheduled to release a compilation album later this month to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The compilation, titled "Our Journey Through Forever - 25 Years of Bewitching Black Metal" will feature re-recorded versions of 18 songs spanning their distinguished career, in addition to two brand new songs. The album will be released via German label Eisenwald on the 25th of February.

Tracing their roots back to Norway's early Death Metal scene in the late 80's, Immortal gradually shifted towards Black Metal in the early 90's, and over the next 13 years continued on an unstoppable path of musical excellence and evolution, avoiding the controversy that revolved around their Norwegian peers, and releasing multiple landmark Black Metal albums before splitting up in 2003.
