What can be said about this album. It is truly an underrated masterpiece. There is nothing similar to it especially due to the use of an 8-string bass instead of a rythm guitar makes it unique. The Magus is propably the forefather of the greek metal scene since he participates in numerous major releases and has produced even more and with this album his role as the main figure of the greek scene is established.

This EP is truly special. It was a step towards the new sound with dirty, lo-fi production and shrieky, light vocals. Mayhem marketed the album long before it was even produced, and when it released, the underground was in shock. In my opinion it has truly held up to date. It is a bit slower than the typical fast tremolo picking of black metal, but that makes it an exiting listen. The lyrics are a bit less complex in comparison to later work, ...
