After releasing some promising EPs and demos, Helleruin finally released their awaited debut earlier this year. The final result was pretty much as anyone can expect after listening to the EPs and demos. The same kind of Primitive Black Metal, with some extremely catchy old school riffs (you can almost call it Black 'n' Roll!). The second Black Metal offering from Akhlys continues in the same manner of complementing Melodic / Symphonic / Atmospheric ideas with more intense and extreme Black Metal approaches. As a whole, the album isn't as good as the previous work, in my opinion, but it's still a worthy release.
